When an electric current passes through an electric wire to the submersible pump, impellers inside the pump start rotating in high speed and start sucking water into the body of submersible pump and then pushes out water to the surface through water pipe.

Bearings with Sand Channels:

All bearings in Borana Submersible pumps are water- lubricated and have a square shape, enabling sand particles, if any, to leave the pump together with the pumped liquid.

Inlet Strainer:

The inlet strainer prevents particles over a certain size from entering the Submersible pump.

Non-Return Value:

Non-Return Valve is fitted to Submersible pump to ensure a flow in the right direction, where pressure conditions may otherwise cause reversed flow.

Priming Screw:

All 50 Hz Submersible pumps range are equipped with a priming screw to prevent dry running, as it will make sure that pump bearing are always lubricated.

Stop Ring:

Stop ring is fitted to avoid damage to the Submersible pump during transport as well as the case of up-thrust in connection with start-up. It is designed as a thrust bearing limits axial movement of the Submersible pump shaft.
